Project Green in partnership with Project Luma
Project Green and Project Luma have teamed up to bring school gardens and art murals to campuses across the region—from elementary schools to high schools, and even local Boys & Girls Clubs.
These projects create safe outdoor learning spaces that foster both education and social-emotional growth. The Northern California Home & Landscape Expo is proud to partner with them, and we invite you to get involved!
How can you help?
Visit their educational garden in the Pavilion Building to learn about winter gardening, discover composting tips for your own yard, and even add your painting skills to the next school mural installation.
And don’t miss the beautiful butterfly photo-op display!

Garden time is best friend time!
Elementary Parent
The garden has emerged as a sanctuary for my daughter. The tranquility and solace she finds while playing in the dirt provides a welcome contrast to the bustling atmosphere of the playground during recess.
Elementary Garden Coordinator
I love watching our kids discover things about nature and themselves in the school garden. Dirty hands and big smiles are the best part of my day in the garden!
Elementary School Counselor
The garden is not only a welcoming space but also provides them with a sense of purpose by contributing to something larger than themselves, benefiting the entire school community.
