Tips for Visiting the Show
It's a big show... in fact, it's the biggest of its kind! So here are a few tips to help you make the most of your visit.
Take Your Time
Be sure to allow plenty of time to explore. With multiple buildings, hundreds of exhibits, workshops and seminars to see, we recommend an entire day. If you feel like you haven’t seen it all, stop by a show office for a free return admission.
Two Entrances
Remember, we have two main entrances to the show. One is located at the east end of Cal Expo near the horseracing track. The other is just off Business 80 freeway at Heritage Lane. Paid parking is available conveniently close to either of these entrances.
Know Before You Go
Look for the January edition of Home Improvement & Remodeling Magazine. It features a complete list of exhibitors, seminar schedules, and general show information. Check this website for the most up-to-date information on everything Expo related.
Free Seminars
The Educational Workshops are free of charge and will most certainly have a topic of interest to you. Be sure to plan for one during your visit.
Free Stuff
Many of our exhibitors offer free samples and incredible show specials. These are deals you won't get anywhere else, so don't miss out!
Free Advice
Our exhibitors are here to help. Rely on them for sound advice for your next big home improvement project or purchase.
Contractor Advisory
Remember... always do your research when hiring a contractor. Before you sign anything, check the CSLB website or call the Contractors State License Board at (800) 321-CSLB, to make sure the contractor is properly licensed in the class for the work to be performed, and the license is in good standing. Another good resource is the Better Business Bureau.
Overview Map of Expo Grounds
Due to the size of the show, no map is available showing the exact booth locations of each and every company. If you want to find a specific vendor, we recommend you print the exhibitor list and floor plans and bring them with you.
